Sound Design Reel

Foley is a performance used to enhance worldbuilding and storytelling. Characters are personified through clothing materials, walking gate and the actions they can perform. Environments can be supported in more interesting ways, either with sounds aligned to the visuals such as a wooden door squeaking at the hinges when pushed aside, or give useful information through implication, like a weapon rattling when its durability gets low signaling it is about to break.

About Me

I am a sound designer and lifelong musician and gamer, from New Jersey. In 2023 I received my Masters of Fine Art in Sound Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. While at SCAD, I developed a passion for Foley. Prior experience as a live audio engineer led me to prefer creating SFX with original recordings rather than cutting from libraries. I’ve mixed Foley for projects ranging from intimate documentaries and dramas to action packed animations and video games.

Before SCAD was a Music Instructor at the School of Rock Hoboken. My main instrument is the bass guitar but can hold down a drum beat and lay chords on the key if asked nicely. Other pastimes of mine include exploring the Unreal Engine, watching horror movies, longboarding and petting cats.

In the Summer of 2022, I began working with Summit Pointe Productions as Sound Designer for their documentaries. I edit and mix all current and upcoming projects including One Kidney Climb: Kilimanjaro 2022, winner of Best Documentary Short at the Central Florida Film Festival.
